Selection Procedure (নির্বাচন পদ্ধতি)
Selection of candidates for PGCIL (Powergrid) Recruitment 2023 will be made through the following stages:
- Scrutiny of applications and shortlisting for Computer Based
- Test Written Test (Computer Based Test), and
- Medical Examination.
Written Test shall be of Objective Type (MCQ) of two hours duration consisting of two parts:
- 1. Part I consists of a Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) with 120 questions having specific questions from the respective discipline.
- 2. Part II consists of the Supervisory Aptitude Test (SAT) with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability, etc.
- 3. All questions carry equal marks (1 mark). Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of ¼.
Qualifying Criteria in Written Test
- For UR / EWS Vacancies: Minimum 30% in each: Part-I & Part-II separately and Minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
- For Other Reserved Vacancies: Minimum 25% in each: Part-I & Part-II separately and Minimum 30% marks in aggregate.
