Educational Qualification (শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা)

Sub-Inspector (RO): 

  • The applicant must have passed Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized University with Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science as subjects. 

Sub-Inspector (Crypto): 

  • The applicant must have passed Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized University with Mathematics and Physics as subjects. 

Sub-Inspector (Technical): 

  • The applicant must have passed B.E./B.Tech or Equivalent in Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer Science as the main subject. Or Qualified Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers or Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. 

Sub-Inspector (Civil): (For Male only)

  • The applicant must have passed Intermediate with three years diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Board/Institution or University or equivalent. 

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Technical): 

  • The applicant must have passed the 10th from a recognized Board with three years diploma in Radio Engineering or Electronics or Computers, from a recognized Institute. Or BSc. Degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized University. 

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Draughtsman): 

  • The applicant must have passed in Matric with English, General Science, and Mathematics from a recognized board with three years diploma in Draughtsman Course (Civil/ Mechanical Engineering) from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic. 

CRPF Age Limit (বয়স সীমা)

Sub Inspector (Radio Operator/Crypto/Technical): 

  • Below 30 years as on 21/05/2023 (Candidates should not be born before 22/05/1993). 

Sub Inspector(Civil):

  • 21 to 30 Years as on 21/05/2023 (Candidates should not be born before 22/05/1993 or after 21/05/2002).

Asst. Sub Inspector (Technical/Draughtsman): 

  • Between 18 to 25 years as on 21/05/2023 (Candidates should not be born before 22/05/1998 or after 21/05/2005).
Age relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government.

CRPF Salary (বেতন)

For Sub-Inspector(RO/Crypto/Technical/Civil) Posts: 
  • As per 7th CPC Pay Level 06, Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-.
For Assistant Sub-Inspector (Technical/Draughtsman) Posts: 
  • As per 7th CPC Pay Level 05, Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/-.

CRPF Online Apply Procedure (আবেদন পদ্ধতি)

Candidates can apply online from 01/05/2023 to 21/05/2023 at the official website: rect.crpf.gov.in. Candidates have a valid personal email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the completion of this recruitment process. 

Before applying online, candidates should scan the following documents in JPG/JPEG format (50KB-100KB):

  • 1) Recent Colour Photograph (3.5cm × 4.5cm),
  • 2) Signature (with black ink),


CRPF Recruitment 2023 Online Apply Procedure

Follow the following steps to apply given below.


Step-I: Registration Process:

  • (i) First select the checkbox given below ‘I Agree’ and press the ‘Start’ button. 
  • (ii) Now you should fill up all the desired information including Personal Details, Contact Details, etc correctly. 
  • (iii) After completion of Step-I registration, a message will be received in your registered email ID conveying your login ID (Application Sequence Number) & Password. 
  • (iv) Then you have to log out and log in again (for Step II) in order to fill out other details in the application form. 

Step-II: Submission of Application form:

  • (i) After registration, you have to log in and complete other details in the application form like Personal Details, Qualification Details, and Declaration, etc. 
  • (ii) Now you have to upload the scanned (digital) image of your photograph and signature.
  • (iii) Once the application is submitted, candidates will be automatically redirected to the SBI gateway to deposit the examination fee. Candidates may generate payment acknowledgment slip for future reference. 
  • (iv) After successful online payment, you will be redirected to your application form.
  • (v) After successful submission, take a printout of the application form (For future reference).

  • For Gen/OBC/EWS Candidates: Rs.200/- (For SI Posts) and Rs. 100/- (For ASI Posts)

CRPF Selection Procedure (নির্বাচন পদ্ধতি)

1. The Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination/ PST/ PET & DV and Medical Examination (DME/RME). 


2. Minimum qualifying marks obtained by candidates in the Written Examination are as follows: 

  • For UR/ESM Candidates: 45% in each part. 
  • For EWS/OBC/ SC/ST Candidates: 40% in each part. 

3. Only those candidates who qualified in Written Examination (Computer Based Test) will be shortlisted for appearing in PST, PET & Medical Tests. 


4. Only those candidates who qualified in PST/PET will be allowed for Documents Verification (DV).


5. Candidates are required to submit all documents in original for verification at the time of Document Verification.


6. The final Selection will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Computer Based Test.

1. For SI (Radio Operator/Crypto/Tech) Posts

Part-I: (100 marks)

  • (i) General Intelligence & Reasoning - 40 Marks. 
  • (ii) General Knowledge and Awareness - 40 Marks.
  • (iii) General English(Grammar) - 20 Marks.

Part- II: (100 marks)


 a) For SI (Radio Operator)

  • (i) Part-A: Concept of Physics & Mathematics (As per eligibility criteria) - 60 Marks. 
  • (ii) Part-B: Graduate Standard Computer Science - 40 Marks.

b) For SI (Crypto)

  • (i) Part-A: Concept of Physics & Mathematics (As per eligibility criteria) - 60 Marks.
  • (ii) Part-B: English Comprehension - 40 Marks.

c) For SI (Technical)

  • (i) Concept of Physics & Mathematics (As per eligibility criteria) - 100 Marks.
OR 
  • (ii) B.E./B.Tech Standard in Electronics or Telecommunication - 100 Marks.

  • (iii) B.E./B.Tech Standard in Computer Science - 100 Marks.


2. For SI (Civil) (Male only) Posts

  • Part-I: Professional knowledge (related to the syllabus of civil engineering) - 50 Marks (For 2 Hours). 
  • Part-II: General Awareness (related to General Knowledge, General Awareness) - 25 Marks.
  • Part-III: Physics/Chemistry/Maths (as per 12th Standard) - 25 Marks.


3. For ASI (Technical/Draughtsman) Posts

Part-I: (60 Marks) 

  • (i) Maths of class 10th Standard - 15 Marks. 
  • (ii) Science of class 10th Standard - 15 Marks.
  • (iii) English of class 10th Standard - 15 Marks.
  • (iv) General Knowledge and Awareness - 15 Marks.

Part-II: (40 Marks)


a) For ASI (Technical)

  • (i) Three Years Diploma Standard in Radio Engineering or Electronics - 40 Marks.
