Educational Qualification 

The applicant must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board and also possess ITI Certificate in the related field notified from the institutes recognized by NCVT/SCVT. 

Age Limit For Railway ITI Apprentice 

The candidate should have a minimum age of 15 years and a maximum of 24 years, as on 30-12-2022. Age relaxation would be as per the rules.

The selected candidates will be paid a stipend during Apprenticeship at the prescribed rates as per extant instructions.

How To Apply 

Follow the following steps to apply:

First, visit the website of South Central Railway: www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in. 

Then click on the "Online Act Apprentice Application" link. The candidate will be directed to the instructions page. 

On viewing all the instructions candidate can download detailed notifications and click for registration. 

Candidate has to select the state and district to which he/she belongs to for which address proof has to be uploaded. 

If eligible, you can enter a valid mobile number and E-mail ID and create your own password which has to be used for further future logins. 

After submission candidate will be sent separate OTPs to the registered mobile number and E-mail ID. 

After submission of OTPs candidate will be directed to the Application page to enter all personnel details like Community, Date of Birth candidate's Name, father's name, Educational/Technical qualification possessed by him/her. 

The applicant has to choose their option of priority/preference for the Railway Establishments of South Central Railway for Training. Option of priority/preference once exercised is final. 

The candidate has to upload a recent color photograph (Max. 1 Mb in size). The Image should not be older than three months from the date of application. The photo should be only in JPEG format-100 DPI. 

Applicants are advised to bring three copies of the same photograph along with e-Call Letter. They are also advised to keep 10 copies of the same photograph for further use. 

After uploading the photograph, the candidate has to upload a specimen signature (Max. 1 MB in size) and upload the required educational certificates & RDAT registration form mentioning the registration number in PDF format (should not be more than 2MB in size). 

After uploading all the required educational certificates successfully click on Preview before submission and check the details entered by you as once the data is submitted cannot be rectified. 

Candidate has to click submit button for the final submission of his/her application, after which, if applicable, candidates will be directed to the payment gateway.

An Application form submitted by the candidate will be displayed. Candidates can download/take printout of the application form submitted. A copy of the same can be preserved by the candidate for future reference. 

Candidate may log in at any stage for completing the submission process of online application after getting registered by clicking "Existing User Login" in the home page.

Candidates for these ITI Apprentice are advised to preserve/note their Registration Number for further stages of correspondence. 

Candidates have to upload the following documents: 

• SSC/10th Class or its equivalent marks sheet. 

• Proof of Date of Birth. 

• Consolidated Marks Sheet of all semesters of the ITI trade in which applied/Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks. 

• National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT. 

• RDAT registration form mentioning the registration number. 

• Community Certificate for SC/ST and for OBC (wherever applicable). 

• Disability Certificate in case of PwBD candidates. 

• EWS Certificate (if applicable). 

• Medical certificate which should be signed by Government authorized doctor (Gaz.). 

• Discharge Certificate/Serving Certificate in case of candidates applied against Ex-Servicemen quota.
